    Approved Vendor

Funded Jiu Jitsu in San Diego

Five Peaks Jiu Jitsu is proud to be an officially approved vendor for San Diego Regional Center (SDRC), Freedom Academy, Pacific Coast Academy (PCA), and We Defy Foundation — making world-class jiu jitsu accessible for qualifying individuals, families, and veterans.

    What Does “Approved Vendor” Mean?

An approved vendor is a service provider officially authorized to receive funding through a regional center or partner organization. When an organization like the San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) approves a vendor, families who qualify for their programs can use their allocated funding to pay for services at that vendor — including martial arts training — with little to no out-of-pocket cost.

For families, this means access to high-quality jiu jitsu instruction that might otherwise be out of reach. Instead of paying out of pocket, qualifying individuals can train at Five Peaks Jiu Jitsu while their funding program covers the cost of their membership. It removes the financial barrier and opens the door to the physical, mental, and social benefits of consistent training.

We chose to become an approved vendor because we believe jiu jitsu should be accessible to everyone — not just those who can afford it on their own. The focus, confidence, body awareness, and discipline built on the mats are especially valuable for individuals with developmental disabilities, underserved youth, and veterans. Partnering with SDRC, Freedom Academy, Pacific Coast Academy, and We Defy Foundation lets us extend that growth to the families who can benefit from it most.

If your family receives funding through any of these programs — or if you think you might qualify — it is worth looking into. Jiu jitsu is one of the most adaptable martial arts in the world, and at Five Peaks we meet every student where they are. Reach out to your caseworker or program coordinator, ask them to authorize Five Peaks as your vendor, and we will handle the rest from there.
